Pours a slightly hazy amber with a half finger yellowish creamy head--fades to a film rather quickly. Aroma has some floral and piney hops, though what’s there isn’t that strong. There is also some vanilla, sugar cookie dough, and light caramel malts. Flavor is plain bitterness up front eventually turning into pine, but either way not great. Alcohol and some sweet malts are there as well. Semidry moderately bitter finish. Moderate creamy carbonation with a medium body. This is not a good beer, and I have a feeling it will give me heartburn. decaturstevo (2007), decatur, Tennessee, USA

Great aroma, sweet. citrus, alot of orange some lemon lime. caramel/toffee/brown sugar. Clean brownish orange color (classic copper actually) Small head that faded quickly to a ring, little to no lacing. Bittersweet flavor. Some of the aroma is in the flavor, but gets bitter. Citrus turns more grapefruit. ABV makes it hot. Still sweet as I roll it on my tongue. Thick body, oily creamy mouthfeel, bitter dry finish. Very nice, gave me a flash back to when I had their IIPA at the Toronado many years ago. I got a drying on the finish that reminds me of how a hop flowers tastes. Excellent really, IMO hopdog (5611), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a deeper copper color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of fruits, caramel, citrus, and nuts. Tastes of caramel, citrus, and some dark fruits. Some alcohol in the finish but doesn’t give away the 10+%. Nothing like a Barley Wine when its 80 degrees outside! HopBackDoc (395), Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA
