| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2007 12oz bottle: poured into a glass a slighty dark amber with a decent head that lasted about halfway through the beer. aroma was slighty hoppy and a bit of malt. flavor was that of a pretty good amber with a little more hops then others in this style of beer. im a big fan of IPAs and like the exrta hops a lot its not enough to be up there with and of the avg IPA but did notice a few more hops. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2007 12 oz bottle; nose of caramel maltand dark fruit, almost BWish as this is a probably two year old bottle and the hops seem to be gone from the nose. Copper color with a medium straw head; flavor has caramel, some fruitiness, and a decent bitter finish, so many hops survived. Kind of a lighter BW! Better find me a fresh bottle! dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Pours a hazy bubbly brown. Medium coffee-stain head. Very nice shelved lacing. Aroma is fruity citrus and nice hops. Similar flavour with a blend of balanced sweetness. Med-full bodied, lightly carbonated feel. Long lasting bitter finish. A good ale. Angeloregon (2036), Portland, Oregon, USA

Nose of well balanced malts and fruity hops. Slightly piny and mildly sweet. Favorable malt character and a pleasant hop profile in the finish. Very impressive amber ale.
