Amber colour. Aroma is very much reminiscent of a cup of Earl Grey tea and so is the flavour. Centennial hops(or Chinook?) add to a great hoppiness in aroma. Good hoppy flavour and long bitterness. Bottle was about 1/2 a year old.

Apr 1, 2007 (On tap) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head leaving some lacework. Soft caramel aroma with some citric accents. Medium body, lightly sweet caramel while the finish is dry with fresh aroma hops. Lovely. 230307

Apr 1, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a typically carbonated and a good lacing. The weak aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops mild spice and brown malt. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

Mar 20, 2007 Whoa! A good Amber. Poured amber of course, with a good white head and nice lacing. Nose of matls and hops, with a tinges of fruits and caramel. Smooth mouthfeel, and solid flavors. Nice clean finish. More hops than usual for an amber which may be why I liked it so much.

Mar 17, 2007 There is a very grainy malt tinge to the nose. It pours clear dark copper, with a thin head, but it lingers. It starts out a bit too sugary and sweet then ends like a handful of pine needles. I’m just not enjoying the mix. An interesting, different kind of taste, just not one I really enjoy.

Mar 15, 2007 12 oz bottle. Clear orange with an antique white head. Orange hops with a pinch of caramel. Goes down nice after a couple slices of pizza. Crisp citrus but a soft mouthfeel. Carb adds a light tingle. Green olive finish.

Mar 13, 2007 Bottle. Amber pour with a white head. Aroma of light earthy hops coupled with doughy pale malt. The flavor stood out with more earthy-bitter hops over a light bidy and a crisp finish.

Mar 2, 2007 Sampled in 12 Galaxies in San Francisco. A very nice brew and pours very dark with a thin thick head. It is a very smooth beer that has a great roasted spices flavor. Very nice beer.
