Clear dark amber body with a thin white head. Aroma indicates hops, flavor echoes with a fresh hop bite, some citrus and sweet caramel. Unique amber.

Much better than the IPA. They should switch labels. Good hops. Nice after taste. Not brilliant, but not bad.

Bottle. Pours a clear, red-tinged amber with a fluffy tan head. Light aroma of caramel and grassy hops. Light body with moderate carbonation. Taste of nuts, and a little bread. Dry resinous finish. Seems more like an APA than an amber, but they’re both kinda nebulous styles for me.

Pours a beautiful mahogany. As the label states, it is very hoppy. Second the statement below that it tastes almost more like an IPA than an amber. I’d recommend against this if an amber is what you’re craving, but if you’re looking for an IPA with a deeper flavor, this could be perfect.

I thought this was an IPA actually. It has a nice taste with malt and hops balanced...but more leaning towards hops. I liked the flavor and balance between the two, and it almost had a vanilla taste with the hops which I never had before. Maybe my taste was off...? Anyway, again I really thought this was an IPA and not an amber ale.

Pours brown with a white head. Smells of floral hops and earth and rain. Very strong hop flavor with a malt finish and a bitter ending.

A pleasant surprise amongst ambers. This was a bit more hopped than your traditional amber ale but not too much in that the expected malt would be diminished. This was a very good ale and could easily be a go-to on a hot summer’s day.
