Bottle. Poured a dark copper color with a slightly off white head that didnt seem to stick around. Taste and smell of caramel. Not to much hop or malt stuck out, but just enough to make this a very enjoyable beer.

Small , tan/gray head, fair retention, lace is spotty. Clear, amber/orange hued brew. Resiny hop nose was surprising, lightly fruity, citrus and herbally. Body is medium, lightly coating on the palate. Medium sweet crystal malts, juicey hop flavors, citrus a little pine and a faint earthyness. Finish is a touch sweet and grainy. One solid Amber! Thanks Craig!

Bottle. Dark amber with low tan head. Clean caramel aroma with notes of metal, flowers and fudge. Clean caramely flavour with notes of grass, toffee and earth. Very clean aftertaste of caramel with notes of grass, earth, vunper and flowers. Decent flavour amber.

Bottle. Poured deep copper color with a large frothy off-white head that lasted and produced excellent lacing. Complex citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium smooth bitter flavor with a medium bitter sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a standout beer.

12oz bottle, no date. Pours a clear brownish copper with a small light tan head. Aroma of pine and grapefruit up front, some caramel malts in back. Quite hoppy. Taste is again piney and grapefruity, caramel and a little bit of nuts come in to balance it out. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Very nice amber.

Beautiful pour, falling to a translucent amber orange with a heavy cobwebbed and grayish-tan dust concentration for the head. Aroma excels in its fulfillment of its "maltiness and boldly hopped" label promise. Caramel nougats, spruce needles and pine & toffee bark with a mild interjection by almond butter and sweet brown bread. Flavor gives a chalking toffee inference with a dry chai tea powder mix persona. Scratchy, nutty and dry cocoa flavored bubblegum. Archaic english toffee, Carnation instant breakfast and slightly sugared cedar basement paneling. Light-to-medium body with a supportive underbrush of carbonation. Though somewhat prepubescent, this one likely won’t ripen one bit. Almond flavored bran flakes bring us full circle in the finish, joining a cast of sweetened shredded wheat and a crumbled toffee nougat characteristic for dry richness. Always hard for a beer to crawl out of the categorical amber hole it puts itself in. Nonetheless, thanks for the bottle, tpkenned!

Good for an amber. Pours an amber/red color. Aroma of fruit, caramel and hops. Flavor of fruity citrus and caramel with a hoppy finish. Good, but nothing to special.
