Tap at Rattle N Hum. Hazy golden pour with a thick white head. The nose is lightly spicy with a kiss of estery fruitiness as well. Flavour shows a nice crackery maltiness with a kiss of spicy noble hops and light fruit. A soft bready palate along with a kiss of peach flavour toward the back. Dry finish with a crackery/biscuity note and some wheaty spice. Simple, delicious golden ale.

I had this on tap at Speakeasy during the 2009 RBSG. This beer hits the nail on the head for being what a session beer should be: low alcohol with a nice flavor. I liked the hop/malt balance. It’s just very well done, IMO.

Draught at the brewery during RBSG09. A bit of a shocker actually; a blond ale at under 4% that actually has plenty of flavor, with a nice hop nose. There is hope for american brewers yet. Poured a blond color with a small head. Fruity hoppy aroma of apricot, peaches and then some straw. The flavor has a light clean malt base, and then finishes dry with fruity hops in the finish but modest bitterness that balances the lighter malt well. Light bodied and crisp, but plenty of texture for a beer this strong. The overall balance is just right.

On tap at the brewery, RBSG 09. Poured a light golden color with big white head. Nose of fruit; citrus and peach, with a smooth, crisp taste, not too dry.

RBSG09, on tap at the brewery. Pours light orange-gold with a frothy off white head. Aromas of cereal grain with mild C-hops. Cheerios maltiness, mild grapefruity hops, slight resinous bitterness. Pretty drinkable and dry. Well balanced and refreshing, but I got tired of the Cheerios note pretty quickly.

Draft. Pours gold with a thin white head. Floral hoppy aroma with some biscuity malts. Nice floral/earthy hop flavor, with a hint of fruity citrus. Nice.

On Tap at Blue Palms. Pours with a tan head over a clear golden body. Aroma of grain, light hops and honey. Taste is grainy, touch of wheat, caramel and a bit of hops. Pretty bready. Light bubbles. Decent session.
