Sep 19, 2007 pours a some what hazy gold with a one finger fluffy white head. has a light body with spotty lacing and descent carbonation. aroma is malt and light hops with a little corn and citrus. flavor is the same as aroma. has a little dry aftertaste and is a bit thin. it is an ok apa but i will pass next time.

Aug 28, 2007 The aroma has light malt. For an apa, I expect some hops and there is not hop presence in this beer at all. Flavor is more malt, which is good enough. But I would enjoy hops as well. Nice palate, grainy and on the heavy side.

Aug 28, 2007 Courtesy of Skyview. Yellow color with a thin head. Slight grainy aroma. Bittersweet corn taste. Not really sure what to make of this.

Aug 25, 2007 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at John’s Market Place in Portland, OR. Pours a semi-clear golden amber brew with an average white head that quickly dissolves to a white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, a touch of butterscotch, vanilla and some slight citrusy hops. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated, semi-sweet with flavors of caramel malt, a little candi sugar, cotton candy and just barely any citrus character. Finish is semi-sweet, malty with a sweet caramel aftertaste. Not as bitter as Prohibition Ale but could use a little more citrus bitterness to be a Pale Ale style beer.

Aug 17, 2007 Bottle: Great flavor - moderate bitter flavor and palate. Something about this beer just set it aside for a pale ale. Would gladly drink again.
