Aroma is malty with some piney hops. The forefront of the flavor is malt with the hop bitterness kicking in after the swallow. Dry finish. Overall not a bad beer.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 2, 2007 I was a little worried because the aroma is a little skunky. The appearance is very pale and no carbonation. However the mouthfeel was nice and the flavor was very hoppy and probably one of the nicer pale ales around. Worth a try." bhensonb (4278), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2007 Rich citrousy hop aroma. Average golden color with a white head that laces a bit. Starts with a sort of lemon/grapefruit combination, followed by malt balanced by hop. The finish is light citrus hop. Medium mouthfeel which thins upon swishing. Just a bit light for a hophead, but very good. I mean it does not claim to be a NW DIPA. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

It pours a pale amberish hue with a medium sized head. Tastes like sour grapefruit and hay. Slight malty candy aftertaste. A very watery ale. Ungstrup (15239), Frederiksberg, Denmark
