Aroma of hops is quite dry with some bitterness. Taste is dominated by some dry and medium bitter notes with some very subtle dry malt notes. Body is about average with some low carbonation. Very bland overall with some limited bitterness and a weak malt character. dwedin (238), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Small head, good lacing, light amber and clear body. Appropriate malt aromas, slightly bready, a little nutty. Grapefruit citrus hop aromas, very balanced. Smooth body, some sweetness followed by a less than ideal amount of bitterness. Not bad, but not my favorite pale. jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 11, 2007 IMO this is not a pale ale. Tasted more like a bad IPA. Lots of hops, but pretty poorly done hops. I was looking for something with a biscuity/malt presence, and I didn’t find it in this beer. Drinkable, but not one I’d get again. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Poured an amber-copper-golden hue with a fizzy white and well retained head. Citrusy floral hop profile with a mild malt spine. Medium bodied mouth feel that made this sessionable and well received. Tmoney99 (4753), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Aroma of pine, citrus, and fruity hops. Tastes of pine resins, sweet citrus, and light toasted malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, lightly resinous with lively carbonation. Pretty ordinary APA. bethmatt0421 (319), Covington, Kentucky, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 7, 2007 A great, but not to overpowering hop bite combined with an easy light finish has made this beer my favorite pale ale. Citrusy, and floral at the same time. At 5.5% its to damn easy to make a session out of. badlizard (2353), Berkeley, California, USA
