Bottle 25 cl. Pours a dark purple/brown with a small off-white head and an aroma of nuts, caramel, spice, roasted malts and overripe fruits. The taste is pretty sweet, malty, with notes of toffee, honey, cinnamon, fruits, dried fruits (maybe dates), some hops and brown sugar. A short spicy finish, with some liquorice. Not a bad beer, but nothing more than just enjoyable.

Brown colour, no head, very little bubbles in glass. Aroma is sweet, candy-like. Roasted malts, some caramel. Taste is sweet and coffee-like, a bit dry hops, some molasse. Finish average, but sweet.

On tap at Pint Bokbierfestival 09. Deep dark brown colour, soapy head. Aroma of alcohol, dark fruits, liquorice (drop), chocolate. Flavour is chocolate, spice, dark fruits, roasted malts, light coffee, light to medium bodied. Nice bock.

Slightly gushing to medium, amber-tinted, slighlty irregular hed over hazy pale orange-amber beer. Honey, spices and stale water; Again loads of liquorice in the mouth, malts; heated honey, diluted; roasted toffee, again heavily diluted. Certain astringency and very burning, fizzy MF. Nonetheless, bit empty. Again not very enjoyable; no real disasters, but several loose ends, poor overall.

Bottle 30cl. @ [ Back2Bock Tasting ].
Light light unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty, keller, cabbage water notes, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081115]

Bottle: Poured a hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma is dirty and sour. Taste is roasted malt, but still funky. When I opened the bottle the cap seemed loose without a tight seal. This might have been a bad bottle.

A dark red colored beer with a beige head. It disappers quickly. Bought @ the bierkoning. Has less flavor, average beer.
