Cask at paisley beer fest. Alround rating: Dark burnt malts, fruits trying to come through but fails, roasty bitterness. Not that great.

Bottle. Pours black with a beige head. Roasted malts aroma, some coffee. Chocolate and coffee flavours, some meat, hints of fruit. Soft and fluffy. Delicious.

Cask (gravity) @ The National Winter Ales Festival 2008, Manchester, UK. Clear dark brown color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, coffee, licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. (Malt bitternes). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (180108)
