Bottle.Deep copper with a medium, fierce tan head. Smoked malts aroma, some tobacco. Sweet malts meeting smoked meat flavours. Surprising, but it works.

Half from gravity at London Drinker BF 08, Camden Centre. Fast fading, off-white head over a pale, dark amber body. Moderate smell of dark malts. Dried, bitter fruits in flavour offset by notes of sweetness from slightly roasted malts. Dry ending (evening session, 13.03.2008).

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Nottingham Beer Festival.
Mid golden brown with almost no head. Earthy malt and slight coffee aroma. Strong marzipan in the flavour with some decent malt and hops. A little watery. Interesting but not great.

Cask, Burton Winter Fest 07. Golden brown with a small head. Aromas are toffee malts with a light fruitines. Some kiwi. Flavours are malty with raisins and other dark fruit. Some toffee malts. The kiwi gives it a bit of a damp taste.
