Commercial Description:
A very traditional British "Session" beer. At 3.5 % alcohol, it's the same as a Bud, but with a ruby red color and mild hop presence. This beer is dedicated to Roger Clark, a world famous British rally driver, He went to work for the Ford Factory Rally team, and eventually became one of the most famous "works" Escort drivers of a generation. I met Roger in 1991, and became good friends with him, before his death in 1998. He would have been proud of this beer!

Pint - Speedway Brewery - Lacey, WA
Aroma – had a nice malty and nutty aroma.
Appearance – Slight hazy again what is up Speedway?
Flavor – A light raosty flavor with some nice flavors of malts and hops. This was better for the day to drink.
Palate – Crisp and easy to drink not a bad beer for the day.
Overall –I thought this was a good beer. The haze took me by surprise again but this was a pleasant beer to drink.

Hazy dull dark chestnut colour. Smooth, nutty overtones. Toffeeish, raisiny notes. Light body. Not the greatest mild...could use some more sugars and probably a dash of hop in there as well to help support the tasty dark malt notes.

On Draught at Brewpub. Light caramel nose forward, with some low roast notes. Appearance is cloudy, with a solid brown off white head. Flavor is extremely simple, but to style, with very light sweet maltiness and the requisite very low bittering; no hop flavor. Carb texture is very low as well, with a medium/low body. Overall, this is a good example of the style. There’s some more complexity that could be tucked in here and there to make a truly classic mild, but definitely worth trying, as it is next to impossible to find one of these on draught in the Pacific Northwest, let alone brewed on site.
