Hints of chocolate and nuts. Agree with bradrcr on the lightness being a major drawback. Bradrcr (781), Renton, Washington, USA

Appearance is very dark brown with a low retention head. Flavor is also roast forward, light flavored with low sweetness. Low texture, but fairly creamy and with no carb texture. Overall, I thought the beer was a bit too light in many different areas. BrewDad (2378), Olympia, Washington, USA

A deep black color with a thin head. This was malty with a deep chocolate flavor. This was easy and smooth to drink and the beer was actually one of the better here at the brewery. It did feel a tad light in the flavor of a watered down flavor. Needed more malts and need to be chewy to be a oatmeal stout. But not too bad.
