Commercial Description:
Our ESB is dedicated to the memories of two of New Zealand's most beloved drivers, Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme. Bruce and Denny dominated the Can-Am series in the United States, driving the bright orange McLarens, which have become icons to that era of racing. Bruce became even more famous for starting his own Formula One team, which still exists today, before tragically losing his life in a testing accident in 1970. Bruce’s logo was the Kiwi, which we have secured marketing rights to, to use on our merchandising. The 5.6 stands for Bruce and Denny's McLaren Team Numbers as well as the alcohol content. A portion of our proceeds will go to the McLaren Trust to maintain the great racing machines and history of Bruce McLaren.

Nose is lightly sweet, mostly toasty with some caramel and earthy hop notes. Pours amber with a thin beige head/ring. Straight up toasted malts followed by a decent peppery/earthy bitterness that kicks in after the swallow and lingers for quite a while. Soft carbonation. Smooth and basic, but nothing wrong with it IMO.

Amber in color clear and a nice head. The malts where good but the EBS part was missing. There was some good malts the hops where just too light more bitter hops needed. Time go back and re do some recipes.
