Speedway Speedy Kiwi 5.6 ESB | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() |
Commercial Description: Our ESB is dedicated to the memories of two of New Zealand's most beloved drivers, Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme. Bruce and Denny dominated the Can-Am series in the United States, driving the bright orange McLarens, which have become icons to that era of racing. Bruce became even more famous for starting his own Formula One team, which still exists today, before tragically losing his life in a testing accident in 1970. Bruce’s logo was the Kiwi, which we have secured marketing rights to, to use on our merchandising. The 5.6 stands for Bruce and Denny's McLaren Team Numbers as well as the alcohol content. A portion of our proceeds will go to the McLaren Trust to maintain the great racing machines and history of Bruce McLaren.
