Mes_and_Sim (3967), London, Greater London, England May 12, 2008 A Mes rate: Tap at the Speights bar in Temple.Amber brown with a thin white-ish head. Lots of tobacco and caramel malt in the aroma with some slight hops and sweetness. Tangy malt flavour with just a snippet of hops and some tobacco. Caramel malt finish with some late bitterness. Ok I guess.

Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with brown sugar hints. Taste is well balanced but lacks complexity. Ends with a short bitter finish. Nothing to get excited about. Reddish brown beer with a lightly malty aroma, and a roasted and lightly bitter flavour with malty elements. Overall a nice beer - malty and very gently bitter.
