Amber coloured with a big dense head that leaves suprisingly nice lazings behind. Aroma is slightly smokey, slightly fruity and metallic in a rather nice "german" way. Flavour is rather full, fruity and slightly smoked with notes of minerals and refreshing hops. Very drinkable and pleasant, round but with slightly too many metallic notes. Body is medium and round with fine bubbled carbonation.

Bottle at Hagges bärsklubb German beer festival (2005?). Nice fluffy head over an orange - amber beer. Medium smoke with a good body and balanced bitterness that makes this a beer you could drink lots of.

Tap at Spezial. Dark chestnut, fine champagne bubbles, golden lace. Light elegant smoke And butterscotch nose. Caramels, apples with light tarry smoke notes and minerals on top. Subdued and very well balanced. Chewy mouthfeel, fine sparkliness. Woodsmoke and grassy hops retronasal.
