Draft - Darker golden body, very slight hazy body, white head; Very fresh nose that is hard to take apart; Malt bitter body with some sparkle, very balanced to the almost boring; Long malt bitter finish with a very little malt aroma. The hop is strangely enough very apparent the the finishing burb.

(draught at the Spezial Gaststätte, Bamberg) pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of lightly grainy pale malts, honey, floral and herbal hops and light yeast. flavour is the same, with lovely flowery hops. medium body and carbonation.

Hazy dull straw. Thick white foam. Fresh, straw taste with a herbal bitterness. This has a more delicate character than most of the style and a dry finish.

Rating #2000. One of the best kellerbeers, at the origin of German beer: Bamberg. Hazy orange golden color, short head. Aroma of soft hop, bit fruity. Soft bitter taste, bit sweet, dry. Good balance.

Tap, at the brewpub. Jan 2005. Hazy gold, moderate white head and low condition. Sweet yeasty nose with background hops and a delicate lemon citrus twist. Solid malt and hops with fruity yeast in the mouth and chalky in the finish with lingering hop bitterness. Not a trace of smoke.

Draught. Hazy golden colour, small white head. The flavour is citricly fruity with a hint of teaish bonbon. OK bitterness in aftertaste, late and nice. Good mouthfeel.

Dark yellow colored, slightly hazy appearance. Medium sized white head. Yeasty, flowery, cellary aroma, still rather clean one, maybe some cardboard comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor starts also as sweet one with fruits and lemon, paper and cardboard in drying aftertaste. Dryness lasts with hops, crispy carbonated palate.

Draught@brewpub. Yellow colour, mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is yeast, malts, earth and hops. Flavour is sweet malts, caramel. All-in-all being rather sweet along with some slight grassyness to balance it up a bit.
