(Cask) sampled at the brewpub on January 30, 2009. Pours a deep copper with a thin, frothy white head. Nose of bitter hops with undertones of cranberry. Very nice bitter hops flavour, slightly oily. I like how the cranberries only make a very brief appearance in the finish. Not too tart and not sweet at all. Good balance and control putting this one together. Very nice ESB.
