Taste has a little bit of currant tartness, chocolate, some spice.
Body is nice, pleasing.

An above average fruit beer with Belgian abbey yeast messaging the mouth and soft parts. A good nose of fruit. Well malted, the fruit is right there. Unique. Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 14, 2008 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. A deep red beer with a slight haze under a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of black currant. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of black currant, leading to a dry and slightly woody finish.
