Black currants, apples, pears and berries in the nose. Clear purplish-amber coloured body is topped by a low, off white, large bubbled, shy head that recedes to a partial cover. Thick, strong and bready malt profile with fair bitterness. Raisin like fruitiness that lingers is especially notable in the aftertaste. Medium full body is a bit slick in texture with somewhat low carbonation. Tulip glass. Cellar temperatre. Bottle (Brewery Creek, Mar-08).

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. A deep red beer with a slight haze under a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of black currant. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of black currant, leading to a dry and slightly woody finish.

650ml bottle from mgermani, thanks. popped the cap, and there was ZERO noise, not a good sign. aroma is wet cardboard, and sour red wine, pretty much a big nose of red wine vinegar. Flavour is sour, syrupy, and vinegary. This bottle has to be off, there is no way they intended it to tatse like this. It actually tastes like a flemish sour ale now. still i couldnt dinrk it, the vinegar flavour was way too much to stand

Grapey brown colour with no real head. Aroma is current and some alcohol. Tastes like currant juice as there is little carbonation or noticeable malts. Very sweet and quite easy to drink despite not tasting very beerlike.

Bomber from Brewery Creek (bloody expensive too!) Poured a reddish brown with no head. Strong currant aroma, young red wine tones, some malt backing it up. Flat tasting, soft dark fruit flavours, some alc presence. Underwhelming. I was hoping for a bigger belgian flavour. Upon opening there was no release of pressure and no head formed when poured, perhaps my bottle was poorly capped...???
