CapFlu (3340), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Aug 12, 2006 (Draught) Sampled at the brewpub on August 11, 2006. Pours a near headless brown body. Nose is mildly roasty while the flavour is only mild. I am not a terribly big fan of Scottish Ales (for that<!-- i -->see Rastacouere<!-- /i -->) but I recognize that this recipe is far less intense and less malted than most any Scottish Ale I know of? joss (3144), Garching b. München, Germany Jun 11, 2006 Red brown, creamy lacing head.
Herbal, licorice and roasted aroma.
Fruity malt body, herbal, slightly green notes. Good body. Sugary and leafy aftertaste. GeoLogix99 (1), California, USA does not count Dec 24, 2002 A very, very, very good beer, and brewpup/restaurant if you happen to visit Victoria, B.C. This was my favorite after a 5-course beer tasting and dinner.
