Commercial Description:
This new beer has been brewed especially for this JDW beer festival (October-November 2009). It is a chestnut-coloured, malty ale, with hints of chocolate, late-hopped to provide a smooth, hoppy aftertaste.

Cask at the Standing Order (JDW), Derby. Amber with a dense creame head; hay aroma; thin orange malt flavour; sweet finish with some earthy malts. A rather basic bitter.

A Mes rate. Cask at Baker St ’Sporks.
Almost copper with a thin off white head. Chewy fruity stuff with some very faint bitterness in the finish. In keeping with the tradition at this oh so poor JDW it was on it’s way to turning sour but still just about drinkable. Dull but inoffensive is about all I can say really.

Cask Handpump at the Penny Black JDW, Northwich 08/11/2009 Some grain aroma. Bronze coloured a little rich on the palate and fruity with a grainy and slightly dry malt finish.

Nice pint in the wetherspoons in leicester. Smooth and was nearly gone in three mouthfuls which is a good sign.

Cask at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes, after the end of the ’Spoons BF ’09. Reddish amber with a small white head. Taste is faintly fruity but appealing. Sweet rather fruity taste: hints of mango or pear perhaps. A little grassiness and some bitterness. I thought this was quite good.
