Sweet, apple-juicy aroma with plenty of hay, and spicy curry hops. Clear and quite pale with a lacy, lasting white cover. Delicious honey malt flavour that, although quite sweet, ends with a marriage of crisp malt and bittering hops. Plenty of noble hops, but not really with identifying notes. Medium body with medium carbonation and a bit sweet finish. One of the best German pils in my book. Quack-Duck (1755), Bodensee, Germany Jul 20, 2008 bottle. Díky, pivnizube! Strangely coloured brownish-grey golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, grainy, malty with pleasant dry aromatic hops.Well-balanced Pils. pivnizub (3811), Porúří, Germany Nov 16, 2007 Bottle (purchased at the Spital): Golden coloured, medium-sized, white creamy with a good lace, solid, satisfying sweet-malty and sweet floral-citrousy hoppy nose; light to medium bodied, distinctive bitter-sweet flavour; lingering aromatic-hoppy plus sweet-malty finish with a harmonic bitter aftertaste. Great, excellent Pils, made by an unspectacular brewery........ MoritzF (3865), Ruhrpott, Germany Sep 23, 2007 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a moderate, slowly lacing foamy white head. Slightly sweet, soft malty, aromatic herbal hop aroma with a pleasant citrus fruity touch. Light bitter flavour with a light salty impression, light to medium bodied, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Soft malty, herbal hoppy taste with subtle citrus fruity accents; dry, moderately bitter, slightly fruity and malty finish with an aromatic herbal, slightly flowery hops character. A good one.
