Jun 21, 2007 Had no clue what this style was, never had it before. Fairly sweet, very light in color, easy drinking for sure. Lots of carbonation too i think. Had at the G nome after the beer dinner.

Jun 2, 2007 Cloudy orange gold, very thin lacing on top of beer. Smells like a subdued blend of bananas and strawberries. The classic aroma I know only as "Belgian yeast" is present as well. First sip is quite sour for what I expected. Lime? Some tanginess resides behind the alcohol in the palate. I also taste some green apples late in the beer. Not what I’ve come to expect in a Belgian tripel, but actually really refreshing.

Jun 1, 2007 12oz. Bottle: Aroma is moderately sweet. Smells malty and fruity, with notes of strawberry, apricot, and caramel. Poured a golden amber in color with a small white head that diminished quickly. No lacing. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is very sweet. Tastes of sugar, honey, some spices, a little earth, and candy. Light to medium body. Thick texture. Average carbonation. Long, sweet, malty finish. Overall, too sweet.

May 28, 2007 Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of citrus, lemon, yeast, floral hops, and a little alcohol. Flavor starts with the sweet malts, citrus, lemon, and spices and finishes with the floral hops. Has a decent alcohol warming on the finish for only 8%. Flavor was better then I thought it would be from the aroma.

May 20, 2007 Although not a classic in sight, it sure doe shave that very cool citus flavor on the nose and then the same citrus (think Orange and Lime) on the mouthfeel. The wheat notes sure do come thorugh in the finish....I really enjoyed this beer!

May 20, 2007 Bottle from Ryan. Thanks. A tripel? What? This stuff is orange. Ive never seen an orange tripel before, but whatever - maybe it was the lighting in my room. Somewhat sweet fruity smelling aroma with a touch of alcohol. Taste is sweet and full of carbonation. Easy to drink, but not really very memorable, and certainly missing alot of the key elements to what make Tripels what they are. No bitterness, no yeasty sediment, just not really very good in my opinion. Cool bottle though, I like the 16oz pour :)

May 18, 2007 Poured golden in color and cloudy. Had a very thin white head. A litte bit of a fruity aroma. Could taste the wheat and oat when it first hits your palate and had a very sharp carbonated finish.

May 10, 2007 Pours a hazy golden with a white head of good duration. The aroma is fruity and the flavor is as well along with some wheat notes.
