Commercial Description:
We started with a Trappist Triple yeast culture and carefully blended Belgian pale barley malt with traditional malted wheat and oats to produce a delectable golden ale. This special brew is aged 12 weeks creating a fruity nad refined taste with a huge bouqet, light body, and a very smooth, non-bitter finish. Best served at 55 degrees F.

1 pt bottle poured in a trappist glass. This beer pours a pretty tangerine with little to no head. It smells like bubble gum and fruit. This is a beautiful looking and smelling beer but it doesn’t have much substance. It’s a bit thin and boring. It isn’t bad, it just isn’t anything much at all. I’m a little disappointed but I would not hesitate to drink this again.
,br> I’m rating this again very similarly but this time I think I taste of bit of tangerine or other sweet orange-like fruit. I’ve upped the appearance to a perfect 5. It’s just a beautiful beer.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Really ugly pour, kind of a murky, somewhat clearish golden brown with zero head and no active carbonation. Peppery, phenolic nose, , a bit watery in the mouth, fruity, dull. Musky old cabinet kinda thing goin’ on. Has some good highlights that it needs to play off of more.

Another single bottle from the brewery. Pours a yellowish golden brew with a tall off-white colored head. Aroma of musty grain witha touch of bleu cheese. Flavor of sweet malt, medicine alcohol and old oak. Very clean finish. A bit light for an Abby Tripel.

Bottle. Little cloudy golden colour with a weak head. Aroma of sweet fruit and some caramel. Also sweet flavour of fruit, caramel and alcohol. Not a original tripel but not bad at all.

This is another of Sprecher’s Brewmaster’s Premium Reserve series that have begun showing up in the stores here in SoCal. It pours a hazy brown with a small, quickly disappearing head. The bubbles are small and smooth on the tongue. The flavor is slightly sweet and cream with lots of fruit in the background. Very nice

Wow, talk about a beer that needs its yeast worked on. Tons of risidual sugar. Full bodied copper colored. The furthest thing from an abbey tripel that I think I have ever had.

Pours an orangish color with thick white head that quicklt fades. Aroma is of ripened fruit, yeasy, and some caranel malt. Taste is yeast, fruit, and caramel malt. This beer is also a bit earthy for a tripel. Nothing special about this one.

Cloudy orange, amber colour with a white head. Malty, light buttery sweet aroma with a floral and spicy note. Malty, caramel sweet flavor with a floral note and a light yeasty finish.
