Aroma of yeast and turpentine. Medium body with fruity accents and some marzipan and diacetyl. Starts off on the sweet side but ends fairly dry. An odd and very inharmonious brew. It starts off malty and sweet and pretty boring, but the after taste is like a cross between budweiser and hard liquor. The aroma is as boring as the taste, sweet and malty. It also kind of burns the tounge a little bit. This is one of my very rare drain pours. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 17, 2007 Bottle: Gold bronze color, nice thick head and lacing. The nose is a bit balanced and tart with some hop and yeast, very little alcohol The flavor is nice and sweet with hop and malt, but a snappy end. Finishes a bit lethargic with lots of sugar and zesty yeast and hop. It’s nice but not enough carbonation to grab my attention as well as not thorough enough to convey its meaning throughout its character.
