Commercial Description:
We started with a Trappist Triple yeast culture and carefully blended Belgian pale barley malt with traditional malted wheat and oats to produce a delectable golden ale. This special brew is aged 12 weeks creating a fruity nad refined taste with a huge bouqet, light body, and a very smooth, non-bitter finish. Best served at 55 degrees F.

A very impressive abbey tripel. Has a very good balance of flavor and tingles the palate. The aroma is somewhat lacking but still very good.

(16oz bottle) Pours a clear light orange with foamy tan head. Nose has peach, cinnamon, coriander, and lightly hopped. Taste is quite spicy with white pepper, lively carbonation, ginger, but siomewhat cloying on the sweetness and finish. Too sweet for this style and too spicy too. It’s just not quite balanced. With only a little work this could be fantastic. Overall a decent attempt at a tripel, but doesn’t compare to any true Belgian I know in the style.

12oz. bottle share. Poured about 6oz. to a hi-ball glass and observed a golden tone with a modest, white foamy head with fading ribbons of lace. The aroma was subtle malt, light Belgian yeast spice, and a hint of banana. The flavor was smooth malt, some fruit sweetness, and average hop bitterness. Light body and average alcohol perception. Standard Tripel

A very deep, slightly hazy, golden color with a quickly dissipating white head. Nose is a light floral note with a faint banana and clove note with a good amount of grainy notes. Taste is grainy first followed by a banana, apple and apricot fruitiness with a sweet, yeasty and slightly dry ending. Carbonation was high but not as high as generally seen in Triples. A pretty good brew overall but you don’t get the crisp, dry character with alcohol that is generally found in the top Triples due to the overabundance of sweetness.

Bottle courtesy of thirdeye11. Clear rich yellow pour. Aroma of dark fruit. Encompassing smell. Sweet taste but has some strange element to it. Almost a soured smell. Not too bad though.

Hazy gold-amber with weak white head / Faint nose of sour banana / Medium body, moderately sweet and syrupy, with low carbonation and no discernable hopping, and with fair finish / Simple, bland flavors of banana and sour malt / Well below average.
