| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Pours a slightly fogged amber gold. Slight off white head. Nose is like stale dough. And there is barely anything to that still. A very muted nose overall. Flavor is tangy. Orange citrus, slight yeast. Tangy is the keyword here though. Feel is standard on the liquid and nice on the carbonation. Overall a good drinking experience. Something isn’t exactly there for a tripel, but I guess I need to keep in mind that this is a "new world" tripel. Is it good? Yes. Should you try it? I say, yes. Aroma of yeast, cloves and banana. Flavor is clove and yeast. Fair amount of carbonation with a light body. A decent, domestic tripel. ubamartian (155), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jan 25, 2008 BOttle. Pours golden amber mildly cloudy. decent off-white head dissipates to a thin layer. Good lacing. Aroma, almost reminded me of banna bread when taken in together. Butterscotch, and sweet fruit. Flavor butterscotch, and lighter sweet fruits, some alcohol on the backend becoming more pronounced after a bit. Full mouth feel, creamy from the carbonation. Finishes with an alcohol flavoring. Decent, wont go out of my way, but would drink it if it was around.
