Virtually no malt character or flavor in general. Blah. Would rather have a domestic light lager instead. drowland (1429), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours a copper body with a fizzy white head. Toasted malt, Hints of dried fruit and raisin like aroma. Almost a light candy bubblegum aroma. Flavor is a bit gummy with cereal notes, best when served rather cold. Hints of fruit and a note of soap i could do without. Not bad, i thought it might be a drain pour for a buck seventy five. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jul 20, 2008 Usually not one for blonde ales, but it was still refreshing. Clear bright golden, thin white head. Mouthfeel is light (duh) and hops definately around. Aroma is hoppy, taste is a little fruity. IlanMan (847), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Definitely more malt character than I expected. Had a slight hop character in the flavor but finished with mostly corn. Not a bad light beer but again, not a good beer. Not worth another purchase. pumpkinheart (63), Aurora, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 27, 2008 Bottle into English pint glass. Pours a translucent golden-tan with a thick, carbonated head. Aroma is sweetness and unenthusiastic hops. Flavor is some sweet maltiness, some additional sweetness that I can’t quite place, and stale grains. The palte is dry and thin. Overall, it’s a light beer, so I think it deserves some credit for exceeding that company. It does not, however, need too much credit as a golden or blond ale. Someday someone will give me a good reason for NA’s and light beers, but that day hasn’t yet come. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 17, 2008 Bottle from brewery. Clear light amber with large white head. Light caramel malt and graininess, crisp and dry. Grainy flavor up front with a caramel like sweetness and finishes dry with banana and subtle sprite undertones. Medium to light body that is hotly carbonated upfront and finishes thin and watery. Not as bad as some light beers maybe but all that enjoyable nor refreshing. Appearance: Straight golden ale with smallish fractional top. Nose : Snappy, crisp malty nose, hint of honey malt. Overall quiet light. Flavor/Palate : Thin bodied , grainy character with some stickiness at finish. Lacking freshness and clean execution. Bland, lacking refinement. Brewing such light, gentle beer its mot easy task.
