Pours a dark blackish brown with thin creamy head. Toasty aroma of coffee. again coffee in flavor with a bitter bite. Leaves a smoky trail. A bit one dimensional but very good for what it is. Taste is more like a Porter than a Schwarzbier.

Bomber. Dark brown/black color with a thin beige head. Rich dark roast malt aroma of chocolate and toffee, like a goumet candy-creme. Some traces of espresso. Dark and robust mocha java flavor with some earthy charred wood/leaf notes on the finish. Nice roasty bitterness to complement the dark richness of the malts. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Pour dark brown. Almost no head that disappears quickly. Aroma is dark fruits and lots of malt. First sip is a roasted, smokey, chocolate, and a bit of coffee. Some light hops peek through at the end and help give it a more robust flavor. Somewhat thin, light smooth feeling on the tongue.

(Can, thanks OSLO and Guerde) Pours very dark brown. Roasted and malty aroma with tones of chocolate, coffee, hay, burned caramel and hints of smoke. Undertones of herblike hops, raw potatoes, gravel, dark bread syrup and fruits like pears, raisins, and apricots. Maybe some tiny notes of cheese doodles. Roasted malt flavour of dark bread, coffee, caramel and chocolate. A bit smoky in the flavour as well. Herb-ish and light grassy hops in the background. Hints of prunes and gravel. Light to medium sweet and light bitter. Thin, a bit sour and light velvety mouthfeel. Light to medium bodied.

This beer pours a really dark brown almost black with no head at all. this lager has a really nice aroma of pitted fruits and mild hops with tons of malt. As you drink it the initial taste is very smokey with lots of caramel on the sides of your mouth as well as mild chocolate on the palate which lasts for a good amount of time. I personally like the carbonation miked with the fruits on the tip of your tounge.

This is a truly complex malty lager. The aroma is of rich, roasted malts with notes of smoke and wood (vanilla) along with some grahm cracker and nougat overlain. The flavour is a complex meadly of dark pitted fuits, sweet caramel, mild chocolate, coffee, and smoke with a subtle hop presence. The mouthfeel is slick on the body and fizzy on the carbonation. The finish is long and sticky, as the bittersweet black liquid coats the palate and lips. EPIC!

Bottle poured a clear black with ruby highlights and a small diminishing amber head. Aromas of carmel, chocolate, light vanilla and a hint of smoke. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, smoke, roasted malt and light chocolate with a crisp lingering malty finish.
