Nice black pour with small amber head. Aroma strong of chocolate and coffee. Taste matches aroma but mouth is a little thin.

16 oz.bottle. Pours black with deep ruby highlights. Decent sized tan head. The aroma is mediumsweet with good roasted malt character, caramel, and chocolate. The flavor is much of the same with the roasted and chocolate malts blending nicely. There is mild bitterness to balance the medium sweetness. Smooth medium body. A solid schwarzbier.

Pours black with a small light tan head. Oily looking. Smells of big dark fruits, dark malts, berries, and maybe even the slightest touch of chocolate. The taste is much the same. Big dark fruity taste with a huge malt presence. I get some of that mild chocolate flavor in the finish and lingering into the aftertaste. Seems to be balanced quite well. Very solid schwarzbier.

Bottle. Thanks to Stine for sending me this gem. Pours a deep black body with nice head. Aroma is of chocolate, roasted malt. Flavor has a deep roastiness to it, some chocolate, caramel and a smooth creamy mouthfeel. This went down too quick and found myself forgetting this was a lager and not a porter. Good beer.

Bottle poured a dark brown color with a nice light tan head. Aroma was chocolate, roast, caramel and toffee. The flavor was super clean with chocolate and caramel standing out the most. Very nice.
