Crushed with Jakebra. About what expected when I heard a dopple was bourbonized. Came highly recommended by the beermo at 3 cellars. Bourbon is very apparent and it gives a very dry finish. It’s aight.

750ml bottle: This one pours a fairly clear, reddish brown color. There was a "pop" when I opened the bottle, but hardly any head on the pour and what was there went away almost immediately. I was surprised that the aroma was a bit light. It was still good, however with notes of bourbon, malt and fruit. The bourbon and the malt compete to be on top, but the bourbon is the main flavor in the finish. Some dark fruits also. I really like this, but I like bourbon also. If bourbon isn’t your thing, this won’t be your beer.

Bottle. A dark red beer with a big beige head. The aroma and taste is of caramel malt, bourbon and alcohol. Medium body with a bourbon, metalic finish.

Aroma of bourbon and caramel. The beer has a very nice red colour, but with not head (more or less). The flavor is of bourbon, but not as good as the aroma, it lags something. The beer has a rather thick body.

(Bottle 100 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Pours a slightly hazy reddish with a rough, off-white head. Lightly tart bourbon aroma. Medium body with notes of wood and bourbon and some mineral-like accents. Very subdued bitterness. 260708

Bottled - tasted blind. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. THe aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of over ripe fruits and prunes. The flavor is sweet amlty with notes of caramel, over ripe fruits, and prunes, leading to a dry bitter and fruity finish.
