Came highly recommended by the beermo at 3 cellars. Bourbon is very apparent and it gives a very dry finish. It’s aight. boto (1345), Granby, Connecticut, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Oct 4, 2008 750ml bottle: This one pours a fairly clear, reddish brown color. There was a "pop" when I opened the bottle, but hardly any head on the pour and what was there went away almost immediately. I was surprised that the aroma was a bit light. It was still good, however with notes of bourbon, malt and fruit. The bourbon and the malt compete to be on top, but the bourbon is the main flavor in the finish. Some dark fruits also. I really like this, but I like bourbon also. If bourbon isn’t your thing, this won’t be your beer. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark

The beer has a very nice red colour, but with not head (more or less). The flavor is of bourbon, but not as good as the aroma, it lags something. The beer has a rather thick body.
