Jul 27, 2008 Bottled - tasted blind. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. THe aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of over ripe fruits and prunes. The flavor is sweet amlty with notes of caramel, over ripe fruits, and prunes, leading to a dry bitter and fruity finish.

Jul 27, 2008 From bottle #22 at sk8vikings American blind tasting. Pours deep amber and brown with a fully diminished off-white head. Fruity and slight spiced aroma. Flavour is dark caramelish and light spiced. Lingering fruity and spiced finish. Again with a persisting caramel flavour.

Dec 17, 2007 1 liter bottle acquired in trade with ughsmash (thanks!). Poured a deep brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of wood, vanilla, bourbon, and some dark fruits. Tastes of wood, vanilla, bourbon, dark fruits, and caramel.

Feb 21, 2008 750ml bottle @Mels YEHA-pours a light tan head and reddish/brown color. Aroma is dark malt-chocolate/licorice, some acidic. Taste is dark malt-chocolate/licorice, some acidic, dark fruit, oak. Thin finish. Not to style for my taste, comes across as an ale-Imperial Stout.
