Commercial Description:
We infused a robust bourbon flavor into our newest limited release by aging it five weeks in white oak bourbon barrels. The balance of six different malts and two varieties of hops compliments the hearty bourbon essence in this decadent Scotch ale.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is malty combined with notes of over ripe fruits, alcohol, and berries. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, and alcohol. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Murky brown with fading brown head. Aroma is sweet with caramel, but frowsy like toe funk (brevibacterium linens?). Sour soy saucy tastes with some cherry notes. Bourbon character is there, but perhaps overtaken by some lactic edge. Kinda reminds me of SA Triplebock lite. $12/1L

Dark hazy reddish brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of toffee, sweet malt and bourbon. Taste of sweet malt, toffee, bourbon and mild alcohol. Usually I hate these bourbon things, but this one was passable as the bourbon wasn’t overpowering.
