Commercial Description:
We infused a robust bourbon flavor into our newest limited release by aging it five weeks in white oak bourbon barrels. The balance of six different malts and two varieties of hops compliments the hearty bourbon essence in this decadent Scotch ale.

Blind tasting at Papsø’s
Hazy dark amber color. Malty aroma, with vanilla oak. Woody caramel flavor, dryish, but mostly alcoholic, with an underlying sourness. The final is quite dry, still with traces of vanilla, with a lightly astringency. A bit too chaotic.

1 Liter flip top bottle acquired in multiple trades. Poured a deeper amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of oak, smoke, peat, earthy, light vanilla, and light bourbon. Tastes of bourbon, wood, peat, smoke, caramel, vanilla, and brown sugar. Body a tad on the thinner side. Alcohol content well hidden.
