Commercial Description:
This coarse filtered wheat ale is fermented with a German yeast culture for a refreshingly light spiciness and hints of citrus fruit. A cloudy appearance and an immense creamy head are characteristic of this lightly hopped Bavarian brew.

On tap. A hazy light orange-gold with a good sized white head. Aroma is faint, banana and cloves. Flavor is subdued as well, not a lot going on. A lot if wheat comes through in the finish. Easy drinking.

Hazy orange colore with visible yeast floaties and big carbonated bubbles. Mostly clove in the aroma with some lemon too. Flavor includes wheat, light banana, and some citrus in the finish. Big carbonation with lingering sweet wheatiness.

16 oz bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow color. Head was white with decent retention. Aroma was of yeasty bread dough with banana, caramel, and bubblegum. Delicately sweet on the tongue with bubblegum, malty cereal grain, banana, and yeasty bread dough flavors. Not a bad hefe, but not as much banana or clove as I had expected.

[Bottle] Pours hazy orange with a nice, thick creamy head. Aroma is sweet--banana and cloves mainly. Good blend that works well for it. Taste is pretty weak, wheat is there but not much else. Very thin. Short finish. This beer started out well with the appearance and aroma but quickly went downhill after that.

(bottle) Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma was mainly clove with a little bit of banana-like fruitiness from time to time. Taste was not as good as the aroma would indicate, with just a light sweetness and a substantial wheaty finish. Not too bad though.

I bought an mixed eight pack of Sprecher beers, one Hefe Weiss was included. Thin head, unfiltered body with flavors of lemon, cloves, and wheat. Refreshing Hefeweizen that went well with Trader Joe’s Thai Lime and chili peanuts while watching a Cubs game on WGN.

16oz bottle- Poured a light copper color that you could not see through. Was no head at all. Tasted like burnt plastic with a hint of citrus. I’m not a huge Hefe Weiss fan, thought I would try it since its made in Wisconsin.

Bottle; poured a ruddy gold, with smallish white head. Aroma was dull and mellow; banana and spice. Flavor was a lilttle stronger, but still found it boring. Crisp taste of banana, yeast and grain. Ending was weak, with little after taste.
