jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA Nov 7, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Deep gold with a decent sized off-white head. Aroma is of light hops, and heavy fruit. Taste is of medium hops and fruit. arkurzynski (89), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA Oct 21, 2009 Pours deep amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma of hops a little off-putting. I love hop aroma, but this is certainly different. Background caramel malts. Hopped up taste that overshadows the malt a bit. Doesn’t quite balance the way I would have liked it too. Much prefer Sprecher’s lager collection. travita (1861), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 12, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The smell is caramel, hops, piney, sweet, and very sweet. The look is golden orange in color, clear, and has a white head. The taste is very sweet, pine, hops, some bitterness, and caramel. angrypirate06 (678), Texas, USA Sep 28, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Orange pour with soapy head. Aroma is sweet malts, dark fruits, doesn’t really smell like a DIPA. Flavor was yeasty, and some sweet malts. Maybe a faded bottle. mar (1740), Rowlett, Texas, USA Sep 19, 2009 bottle thanks to bu11zeye. amber with a cdream head. nose is light hops and caramel in the back. decent on the palate with a very sweet hop flavor that is backed by caramel. thirdeye11 (405), Texas, USA Sep 19, 2009 ( 16oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours clearish orange. Oily bubbles. Nose of caramel, biscuit. Taste is slightly bitter, decent malt backbone, sweet bread with a bitter oily finish that doesn’t linger. Somewhat watery is a complaint though. screigh (253), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 15, 2009 For an IPA there isn’t much aroma. Color is a nice hazy copper. Almost no head at all. Taste is slightly better than the smell. Malty, grassy and slight citrus taste. No real hop flavor or bitterness. Very dry finish. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Sep 12, 2009 bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, clear golden with a slight foam, bitter faint aroma, flavors are buttery caramel, some citrus, grainy bitter finish
