Commercial Description:
This traditional ale was originally brewed in England for the British troops stationed in India. Double dry-hopped,it has intense hop flavors and aromas delicately balanced with a potent, yet delicious, malty sweetness.

Randy's Notes: "Our IPA is of the imperial or double style, therefore much stronger than the normal IPA's now found everywhere. It has a very balanced but different flavor than most US micro types focusing on more on malt and hop balance where CA IPA's emphasize massive hop aroma and bitterness."

Editor's Note: also known as IPA2 Double IPA.

Picked up bottle from brewery’s gift shop. Pours a cloudy reddish brown brew with an off-white head. Very thick at first but dissipating just as fast. Aroma of light citrus, flowery hops, light yeast and a touch of caramel. Flavor of rye bread, caramel, and some fruit. Nice finish with a dry hoppy aftertaste. Very rich IPA.

(Bottle 47 cl) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Somewhat unclean malt aroma. Medium body and light touch of alcohol - somewhat oxidized. A crude and brutal bitterness. Not pleasant. 011206

A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and malty, while the flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel. Lacks a bit of hops for my liking.
