| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Bottle for breakfast/lunch. Poured an orange/amber color with a tan, frothy head. Long lasting. Aroma of chewy caramel, vanilla, yeast and citrus. Quite sweet. Flavor was not really all that good for the style. Malt dominated, with some earthy/citrus hops in the finish. Not all that flavorful or tasty. Some mineraliness in the finish which was not desirable. Not great. jkwalking05 (1485), Arlington, Texas, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2009 Pours deep amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma of hops a little off-putting. I love hop aroma, but this is certainly different. Background caramel malts. Hopped up taste that overshadows the malt a bit. Doesn’t quite balance the way I would have liked it too. Much prefer Sprecher’s lager collection. travita (1941), Frisco, Texas, USA

The look is golden orange in color, clear, and has a white head. The taste is very sweet, pine, hops, some bitterness, and caramel. angrypirate06 (781), Texas, USA

Nose of caramel, biscuit. Taste is slightly bitter, decent malt backbone, sweet bread with a bitter oily finish that doesn’t linger. Somewhat watery is a complaint though.
