Commercial Description:
SPRING - Pale malty flavors are balanced with a rich hop flavor and a light fruit bouquet in this tradtitional spring-time lager. Extended aging and traditional dry-hopping give this potent, blonde bock a distinctive flowery aroma.

Good looking, a clear orange body with a creamy white head. The aroma is sweet and worty with wild flowers and freshly clipped grasses. The hops fade in the flavor, it having mainly sweet malts, toasted white bread, and a twist of lemon. Drinkable, but not one of Sprecher’s best.

The aroma is flowery as advertised, along with plenty of malt and what seems to be cola. The appearance is nice with it’s near permanent three finger head. The flavor is watery and much like the aroma. There is a discernible amount of malt and hops but it just doesn’t come across as special or interesting. The palate is OK but the aftertaste is metallic. I would have to say this beer is just OK also.

On tap at the Happy Gnome. Golden orange color. Lager characteristics are generally swallowed up in pale malts and light citrusy hops. Some woody flavor. Easy as you could possibly ask for.

Bottle: Light golden, moderate white forthy head, light lacing, minor carbonation.   Semi-sweet mose, light spices, rich maltiness.   Pale malts on the tongue, not as sweet as I thought and also it has a bit of twang towards the finish.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Smelled fairly good, but came across as very average.   Finishes with a slight malty astringent twang.   Average.

Had on tap at the happy gnome. Not to bad, decent hop bite with a good amount of fruit without being to sweet. Certainlly prefer the Summit and Schell Maibock over this one, but still a decent rep. of the style.

had a bottle at Bodega Brew Pub that poured with slight head, little lace, mildly spicy aroma. Very mild flavor, ok body. Nothing too special, but not bad

Pours a firey red with a nice dirty white head. Nice banana, toffee, nose with hints of some other grainy malt sweetness and a hint of smoke. Nice light carbonated mouthfeel with a biscuity sweet flavor giving hints of toffee as well. A nice light floral hoppiness carries on through the finish. A suprisingly good beer.
