Commercial Description:
SPRING - Pale malty flavors are balanced with a rich hop flavor and a light fruit bouquet in this tradtitional spring-time lager. Extended aging and traditional dry-hopping give this potent, blonde bock a distinctive flowery aroma.

Booming head. Lively, fizzy beer. Fills my .5L boot with the rising head. Smells sweet and with a strong hops presence, like an IPA. Tastes of grass, lemons, honey and hops. Crisp and refreshing. Good pepper undertones. I’m usually not a fan of maibocks, but this one I like. I think calling it a maibock might be a little liberal, but who am I to judge? That being said, I like this one.

Had this one on draught in Milwaukee. Nose of bread and berry fruits/raspberry? Tastes very malty and sweet, not bad.

tons of tiny bubbles throughout. The orange/gol/amber body has a huge rolling whtie head. Fruity apple nose with soft, bready malt profile. Dry, grainy prevalence, resinous, thick and syrupy, yet a bit watery. Should clean up crisper and cleaner to really get me

Clear golden colour with a light off-white head and bright tints of orange. Aroma of coriander seed, hops, wheat and a light spice-more like a wheat than a bock! Medium-bodied; Tart initial taste with some hops and large floral tastes. Long fresh taste finishing dry, showing the hops. Overall, a nice beer-a deviation from the norm, but definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 16 ounce bottle purchased from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York on 10-July-2004 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Beautiful amber color; big, fresh white head. Aroma:vegetal, herbal, nutty.Light texture, goood’n’malty, scant hops. None of the particular sweetness I’ve come to enjoy and expect from my favorite maibocks. A trifle buttery.

Bottle. Rather disapointing to say the least. Pale yellow, white head. Worty malty aroma. Flavor is malty, but worty. Seems like there is unfermented malt present in this one. Drinkable and passable, but not great for a maibock.

16 oz. bottle: Beer pours clear copper color with a nice off white head. Aroma is lightly malty and definetely smells of time spent in the lagering tank. Flavor is quite nice like sweet bread. Also a bit of spiciness in the finish. Very enjoyable beer.
