Commercial Description:
SPRING - Pale malty flavors are balanced with a rich hop flavor and a light fruit bouquet in this tradtitional spring-time lager. Extended aging and traditional dry-hopping give this potent, blonde bock a distinctive flowery aroma.

Bottle at Chris´s, october 07. Fruity aroma, some superior alcohol notes. Shinny deep golden colo with almost no head. Strong malty aroma, some fruity notes. A bit clumsy though. Medium to full mouthfeel. Warming but a bit over the top and clumsy. OK strong lager.

Light copper color, thin off white head. Mostly floral aroma. Lots of sweet malt with hints of honey, yeast and caramel. Medium bodied and well carbonated. Finishes smooth with a touch of sweetbread.

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris O’s Fukito tasting.
Blonde / brown with a light white head. Slight hops and sweet malt but SERIOUSLY overpowered by vegetable soup. The most vegetal beer I have had. It’s all leaves and cabbage and green stuff. Paper and corn notes do not help in the slightest. Pretty poor.

16 oz bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color. Head was off white and reduced quickly to a thin ring. Aroma was mostly fruity, specifically plum and pineapple. There was also husky grain and an occasional whiff of adhesive tape. Dry on the tongue, but fruity, with pineapple dominating. Light malty caramel and mild hop bitterness round this one out. Way overrated at the 73rd percentile.

Bottle; pours a rich orange color with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel; heavy on the malt. Flavor was standard for the style, not as sweet as some. Very caramel and bready tasting; not much hops or spice. Palate was good. Average for me.

50 cL bottle. Pours golden orange, clear, with a white head. Spiced to citric hoppy and malty aroma and flavour, untraditional for a mai bock - but good.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear, deep golden with a small, white head leaving laces. Malty aroma with lightly citrusy hops. Medium body, lightly sweet, pale malts and a dry, hoppy finish. Straight all right. 180907

Light amber color. Light arma of dry cardboard, light malt and caramel. Dry mouthfeel, but with a fairly good malt and caramel flavor. Not exceptional, but pleasant to drink.
