Commercial Description:
SPRING - Pale malty flavors are balanced with a rich hop flavor and a light fruit bouquet in this tradtitional spring-time lager. Extended aging and traditional dry-hopping give this potent, blonde bock a distinctive flowery aroma.

Pours a bright amber with a respectable white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Caramel, maple, spice, and sweet malt in the flavor with just a hint of hops. Not quite as robust as I’d expect from a Maibock, but good nevertheless.

The only thing that ruins this beer for me is the copper taste at the end. I love bocks, love Heller bocks, and can’t quite love this beer. I like it, though, because it’s bitter, and heavy, and makes me think of spring. But it just doesn’t live up to expectations.

Deep amber color with a rich thick malty nose and flavor. The flowery aroma was very fun to have with this beer. This was the treat of the day. The beer got better flavor as the glass warmed up. The beer had some deep spices and rich malts that where awesome. I really liked this beer.

Pint bottle. Deep gold, with a thick loose white head. Very fizzy. Sweet, light malt aroma. Thick and sweet, with an oily consistency. A bit too heave for me.

Dark brown color with minimal head. Malty nose with plenty of caramel and very faint hops. Very malty taste.

The aroma has mild caramel notes, malt, candied fruit and some candy sugar. Very sweet smelling. The body is a dark orange/brown and holds a diminishing thumb thick tan head. Baked fruits, brown sugar, caramel and gobs of sweet sugary notes and malt. Comes ac ross more as a Marzen/Fest with maybe a tiny bit more alcohol. Definitely doesn’t have much in the way of noticeable alcohol and the malt base is very Marzen like.
