Thanks to the beerprincess for sharing! Im wondering how the bread came out? Gold pour. Basil and tomato aroma. Flavor is grainy, meaty and herbal. Not as bad as I was expecting. I bet this makes a great beer for cooking

9/06/2009: Mamma Mia! Pizza Beer... Aroma: Sweet tomato, yuck! I enjoy beer paired with a lot of diverse things, but tomato just isn’t one of them! Appearance: Hazy, deep gold color; foamy ivory-colored head. Flavor: A bit sweet with oregano, basil, and a hint of tomato; tastes a bit like herb-seasoned pizza dough; the flavors grows on me a bit more with each sip. Palate: Medium body, smooth. Overall: Tastes better than it smells; probably better for cooking and sharing as a novelty rather than drinking regularly.

16 fl. oz. bottles Ɩ) from Woodman’s in Aurora, IL. Rating #142 for this beer.

Bottle thanks to Craig. Pours a hazy gold with a nice white head. Aroma is pizza combos with a bit of malts. The taste was like drinking liquid pizza Combos or Doritos. This beer is more of a novelity than a beer, but worth trying.

Thanks to Shigadeyo for sharing this one.
This beer pretty much reminds of pizza flavored Combos. The aroma is V8 juice and some spices...perhaps garlic. Flavor is pizza combos all the way or maybe pizza rolls. Well whatever it is, it really does taste like pizza. Eh, not really legitimate pizza, but pizza flavoring. Not bad though really. More drinkable than I actually though it would be.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange colored body. The aroma was mild malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strange weird flavor contained notes of spices and herbs. A horrible one that I would rather not drink again.

2009 Bottle - Thanks valpoaj! - So we just recently shared a Shorts Bloody Beer, so this seemed like a logical next step...pours out orange with a small off white head...aroma is savory spice, something I guess you could call tomato and some dry malt...flavour is similar, and tastes like a vegetarian pizza beer, light and unoffensive, oregano mostly but subtly...really not bad and quite refreshing...I would have liked some fennel or anise to strengthen the gimmick, but what are you gonna do?

Pours dark golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Notes of garlic, cheesy hops, basil, oregano, light caramel and toffee. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not bad for a gimmick beer, but really not something I’d want to try again.
