Bottle courtesy of crizay, thanks Chris. Pours gold with a bit of haze and thin bright white head. The aroma causes a wow response with its notes of fresh salted pretzels, salt, oregano and hints of tomatoes. Very different indeed. The taste begins with crisp beer light maltiness. Those notes are quickly swallowed up by salt and then a bread note that seems like a San Francisco sourdough knock-off. It could be just French bread. The bread and salt notes are met midway by oregano. Into the finish mild tomato notes rise up to a just noticeable level. Interesting brew. For my tastes it could use a bigger tomato influence.

Courtesy of Ibrew2or3. Pours light orange. White head. Aroma picks up with a lot of spiced herbs, oregano and basil, some garlic salt. Taste, close to garlic salt, spices all over orgeano, basil, tomato powder. Some malty notes. Beer remains sweet. Not a bad beer, just something totally different, feels like drinking tomato sauce w/o the thickness. Not much of a beer in there, too salty, lots of spices. I could see it go well with some cheap pizza. Original concept, not horrible.

Bottle courtesy Hopscotch. Cloudy yellowish gold pour with a thin white head. Oregano, basil and tomato sauce aroma, yep its a pizza aroma. Taste is thin tomato and malty, not as big as the aroma. A neat experiment, but I don’t know if I could do that again.

1 pint bottle from Binny’s in Naperville. Pours an extremely carbonated head and body. The noise is really loud for a beer, almost soda pop like. Medium sized white head, very bubbly..leaves quickly and remains ehh somewhat lacy. Clear golden yellow with a little bit of cloudiness. Smells like a sweet pale malt with a hint of pizza to it...seriously. It has some italian spice mix (basil and oregano) as well as a garlicy, tomato sauce whiff. Malty and light body with a little carbonation at the end. And yes...it does taste like i just took a bite of pizza. It leaves a distinct aftertaste of spices, garlic, and tomato sauce. Overall, definitely a very clean flavor. I really only picked this one up because it said "pizza beer" on the label. And after sipping on this, it just kept getting more and more hilarious. The flavor was very unique and unlike anything I’ve ever had. A must sample.

Bottle bought at Sam’s wine & spirits in Chicago, hazy, murky amber- orangeish hue, with a white head, tomato pizza paste nose, with a pizza dough, basil, oregano spiciness, with a light garlic, kind of cheesy parmesan, dried tomatoes in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a pizza dough, tomato, basil character, with a faint oregano, provence herbs spiciness, with a faint cheesy parmesan note, i don’t know, how they do! i taste a liquid pizza, leading towards a malty, spicy herb, faint tomato finish. I’m quite surprised for the result, you really get what the label is saying.

Bottle shared at DLD08. Pours a copper color with a fairly small white head. Aroma is oregano, basil, light tomsto. Flavor is oregano, basil, grains. Palate is medium to light bodied, medium carbonation, finished sweet and spicy. Not my cup of tea. Decent for what it supposed to be, but seems like you would find this at your local gags and games type store, more of a joke.

About what I expected. That’s pretty much all I have to say. Pretty gross.
