16oz. bottle by way of csbosox. Thanks! Aroma of dark malt, dried fruit, touches of red wine and lighter notes of peat, faint smoke, brown sugar and herbs. Deep amber color with a lasting, fine, dark tan head. Flavor is utterly dominated by malt, smoky, peaty, dark and sweet, with touches of dark fruits (raisin, prune) and a semi-dry finish. Palate is smooth and lightly carbonated, body is medium. Really pretty tasty.

Bottle shared by csbosox. Pours fiery red with plenty of beige head. Strong caramelized toffee malt aroma. Some smoke. Very nice. Flavor is quite the let down. Dry malt with some smoke and light toffee. Medium to full body. Light carbonation. Ashy dry finish. Not bad at all.

Malty, caramelized aroma with some light smoke. Amber colored with a light khaki head. Taste is malty, caramelly, and lightly smoky with a touch of earthiness. Nice maltiness, but fairly simple.

This poured a light copper coloured body with a full tan head. Holds a pleasent and very noticable caramel aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, sweet and enticing. Flavors of smoke, oak and toffee. very pleasent all around.

Bottle 500 ml
Appearance: Ruby amber red , fine carbonation , light top.
Nose : Slight , smoky , clean . Good mid roasted malts , straight light smoky hints .
Flavor/Palate : Medium light bodied , front with mineral feel followed by meaty smoky theme. Full feeling with good warmth to it.

Amber-mahogany, film, ring for head. Aroma has some alcohol up front, smokiness in the background, malt is there but not as big as expected. Flavor has a decent balance of caramel, toffee, faint smoke, finishes with some alcohol warming. Decent overall.

Bottle. Pours a deep copper-red with an average size diminishing creamy off-white head. Nice aroma of peat smoke, caramel malt, fruit, brown sugar and hops. Flavour of toasted caramel malt, smoke and fruit along with notes of brown sugar and nuts. Quite decent smoky bitter finish. Medium bodied. I really enjoyed this, a little underrated methinks.
