Commercial Description:
Brewed in the northern style of an English ale. This light brown ale has a nice caramel and toasted malt flavor, combined with a fresh hoppy aroma that is slightly fruity. This is nicely complimented by a subtle bitterness that rounds out the palate.

16 oz bottle. Light brown, nice head. Aroma is spot on toast and cereal. Taste is slightly nutty, mildly carbonated with some flavor, like Tang.

Had on tap at barley pop. Pours a copper color w/ a fairly well laced soapy off white head. The scent is fairly mild w/ hints of carmel malt and a little fruitness. I’d say it smelled smoky but it was probably the bar. Palate was very middle of the road. Flavor was a light carmel malt hints of some grass hop and a little bit of dark fruit. Overall an ok beer, nothing more.

Hmmm I am drinking it stragiht outta the bottle so I am not even gonna bother with how it looks. It has a somewhat syrupy texture. Hints of honey and fruit punch. Slightest hint of hops.

On tap at brewery and in bottle at home. This is a fine beer. Pours a perfect foamy head that lingers very well. Beautiful walnut brown color. Nice toasted malty nose. Taste is biscuit malt squared. Creamy on the tongue and very rich. The toast/biscuit aroma prevails. A real warmer, even though the alcohol is low. Good show.

Sampled on tap, this beer really isn’t bad. Not as exciting as Special Amber or other Sprecher brews available in bars, but quite tasty nonetheless. Smooth, crisp taste, well balanced, drinkable. Not very exciting, but worth trying if all they have is typical macros.

Reddish brown color with a small tan head that fades fast. Strong malt aroma with some fruit and smoky caramel. Creamy texture with taste heavy on the malt and caramel. Nice little bite of hops at the end. I’m a sucker for brown ales and I like this one.

Red/Brown Coloring with Tan Head. Aroma of Sweet Malt, Toasted Notes and Sweet Caramel. The Flavor Reminds me Distinctly of Monkey Bread...Which Has a Nice Caramel Sweetness to It...Lightly Toasted. Some Light Hops at the End That Dance Precariously Through Your Palate. Highly Enjoyable Ale!
