It’s medium-bodied with a caramel taste lightly accentuated by a easy hop balance. Mildly bitter finish. Nothing special, but a fine session beer.

Mild malt and light citrus aroma. Light brown sugar flavors with a touch of toastiness. A bit watery and sprity in mouthfeel. Finishes with an of bitterness. Noting exciting.
Rerate - Did not have the citric components and much smoother on the palate. In fact it was the palate that brought me back to rerate. As I tried it again I found the body to quite smooth and silky and thought that it deserved at least a 4. Found it to be a much better version that the the one in 2002. Poured a clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt, nut and fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Good drinkable brew.
