Chocolate, coffee, fig, and a drambuie liqueur taste. Wow!! This is unique. Thanks to Solan for getting this in over at Knightly Spirits. This is more of an after dinner drink than a beer. I can’t wait to taste the rest of this sampler pack. alexsdad06 (1106), Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 2, 2007 Bottle. Pours black with a small tan head that quickly disappears. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruits, and vanilla. The flavor is heavy on the roasted malts with light coffee, chocolate, and vinous character. The finish is a little dry. Medium-full mouthfeel with a velvety texture. I don’t know if it is necessarily an Impy, but a very good stout none the less. faroeviking (6125), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
